We are currently out at Pendarvis Farm recording a new album! Yann Tiersen and his band have already visited and helped us out, and hopefully we will have more surprise guest to come. Neighborhood Films has been capturing all the magical sights and sounds. We couldn’t be more excited, and there will be plenty more news to come soon!

It’s my opinion that many times we have been given easy answers that may temporarily act as good advice, but we aren’t cookie-cutter humans, and those easy answers won’t satisfy a story that’s eternal. A formula will not work in the long run. Sometimes a formula won’t work at all. Discovering why we feel trapped by fear or shame, and how God wants to begin to heal our brokenness, is a personal journey that nobody on the face of this earth has the right to define or say how it should look in order for it to be true. Your journey is providentially crafted for you.
You know we’ve got a good thing going and I don’t wanna see it end.

Some of my favorite moments from last summer are late at night, laying in my bed, half watching (500) Days of Summer, talking to Andrew on the phone through the entirety of the movie and then some, sometimes realizing phone calls are stupid compared to Skype and then Skyping a couple more hours, not worried about the fact I’d have to get up for work in two hours.
This is why I don’t come up with things to do. Because no one wants to/is able to do what I’m planning.
But if you don’t wanna do something, I’d prefer you just say so instead of coming up with fallacious excuses.
Some people can only do things that are their idea, so stop getting upset about “not being included” and accept a fucking invite.

People fall uncomfortably into the roles where they can feel comfortable in the pain of it.
